Agreement and Scope
Trade8 is a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands.
These terms govern access to the Trade8 public website, product information, documentation, and related content. By using the website, you agree to these terms and applicable law. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so. If you do not agree, stop using the website.
Trading, custody, collateral, and account services are also subject to the agreements and disclosures supplied for those services. Reading documentation, choosing a sign-in method, or receiving an account-access message does not by itself create a trading account or custody relationship.
Eligibility and Accurate Information
Account access requires the applicable identity, residence, business, and source-of-funds checks. You must provide accurate information, keep it current, and promptly correct material errors. You must not use another person’s identity, conceal beneficial ownership, or bypass a geographic restriction.
Services are unavailable in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the United States of America, with additional restrictions where required by law, sanctions, exchange rules, or customer-acceptance requirements. Review Restricted Jurisdictions and KYC & AML.
Permitted Use
You may browse the website and use documentation to understand and develop an authorized integration. Keep copyright and proprietary notices intact. Public API examples are explanatory; confirm current market specifications, permissions, limits, and account terms before sending an instruction.
Use designated API interfaces for approved automated trading. Do not treat access to a public page as authorization to scrape private data, bypass request limits, or access another customer’s information.
Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- use unlawfully obtained funds or assets, conceal their origin, or facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or sanctions evasion;
- misrepresent identity, residence, ownership, authority, or the purpose of an account;
- attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, interfere with infrastructure, or compromise another user’s credentials;
- exploit a malfunction, stale data, or security flaw to obtain an unauthorized benefit;
- manipulate markets, engage in wash trading or collusion, or use multiple accounts to evade limits or controls;
- overload the service, defeat access restrictions, or collect private information through unauthorized automation;
- impersonate Trade8 or a third-party provider, or represent an integration as an endorsement; or
- copy, alter, redistribute, or reverse-engineer protected material beyond rights granted by an applicable licence or mandatory law.
Legitimate algorithmic trading and market making remain subject to exchange rules and the applicable account agreement. The use of a high-frequency strategy is not, by itself, prohibited conduct.
Account and Credential Responsibility
Protect sign-in accounts, authentication devices, API credentials, and recovery information. Grant an automated strategy only the permissions it needs. Tell support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access and follow the approved recovery process.
Do not share passwords, API secrets, private keys, or recovery phrases in support correspondence. Responsibility for particular unauthorized transactions is governed by applicable law and the relevant service agreement; these website terms do not remove non-excludable rights.
Orders, Fills, and Cancellation
An acknowledged request is not a guaranteed fill. Routing may create child orders on different exchanges, each with its own outcome. Partial fills remain positions even if a later request fails or the remainder is cancelled.
A cancellation or amendment request is effective only when confirmed under the relevant order rules. A fill can occur while cancellation is pending. Cancelling an unfilled remainder does not reverse an executed trade. Do not resubmit an order with an unknown outcome without reconciling its original identifier.
Market Information and Costs
Market data can change, become stale, or contain errors. Displayed quotes, example allocations, and estimated costs are not commitments to execute at a particular price. Funding, venue fees, service charges, slippage, conversion, and transfer costs can affect the outcome.
Third-party exchange and custody services have their own terms, eligibility, operating hours, maintenance events, and risk controls. A normalized API does not make their contracts or margin arrangements identical.
Risk and No Advice
Crypto perpetual futures involve volatility, leverage, funding, liquidation, counterparty, technology, and access risks. You can lose the collateral committed to a position; further obligations may arise under the applicable contract. No investment return, fill, exit price, or continuous availability is guaranteed.
Information on this website is general product and educational information. It is not individualized investment, tax, or legal advice. Review the Risk Disclosure and assess the service against your circumstances.
Intellectual Property
Trade8 and its licensors retain rights in the website’s branding, original text, software, graphics, and design. No trademark or other proprietary licence is granted by implication. Third-party names and logos identify integrations or referenced services and remain the property of their owners.
Open-source software and documentation examples remain subject to their applicable licences. To request permission to reproduce other material, Contact Us.
Availability, Suspension, and External Events
Access may be interrupted by maintenance, network failures, cyber incidents, exchange outages, blockchain congestion, government action, or other events beyond reasonable control. Do not rely on uninterrupted website access as your only risk control.
Access or activity may be restricted where necessary to address prohibited conduct, incomplete due diligence, legal requirements, insufficient collateral, or a security incident. The treatment of open positions and assets follows the applicable agreements and law; these terms do not authorize arbitrary confiscation.
Liability and Mandatory Rights
Website information is supplied without a guarantee that it is complete, current, or suitable for a particular strategy. To the extent permitted by law, responsibility for reliance on informational content is limited accordingly. Nothing excludes liability, consumer protections, privacy rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes, Severability, and Contact
These terms may be updated as the website and service change. Material service changes remain subject to the notices required by applicable agreements and law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted.
