Restricted Jurisdictions
Trade8 does not provide account or trading services to residents of, or persons accessing the service from, the following jurisdictions:
- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Syria
- United States of America
These exclusions follow Trade8’s customer-acceptance policy. Additional restrictions can apply where offering or using the service would breach local law, sanctions, or an exchange’s access requirements.
Who Can Apply
You must be at least 18, have the legal capacity to enter into the applicable agreements, and provide complete and accurate identity and residence information. A business applicant must identify the legal entity, its beneficial owners, and the people authorized to act on its behalf.
Access to exchanges, instruments, collateral assets, and margin modes depends on account approval and applicable restrictions.
Sanctions and Political Exposure
Sanctioned persons and entities cannot open an account or use the service. Screening can take account of United Nations, European Union, United Kingdom, United States OFAC, and other applicable sanctions lists.
Under Trade8’s customer-acceptance policy, politically exposed persons and their immediate family members are not accepted. Ownership, control, and close associations may require additional review.
Location and Identity
Do not misstate your residence, use another person’s identity, create accounts to bypass restrictions, or use a VPN, proxy, or similar tool to conceal a restricted location. Identity and residence information must agree with the application.
The public account-entry flow displays a jurisdiction restriction notice. Contact support if you need clarification before submitting an application elsewhere.
Changes and Existing Accounts
Tell Trade8 when your residence, ownership, business activity, or other relevant information changes. Access may need to be reassessed. Trading restrictions, position management, and any permitted withdrawal process depend on the applicable agreement and legal requirements.
